I’d like to take the time to just say thanks for making the best reloading equipment on the planet. I’ve been reloading since 1978 and have gone thru several different brands of equipment and always go back to MEC. I currently own 4 MEC reloaders, and have had no problems with any of them. My first machine was a MEC 600, purchased from Bruner’s Shooters Supply in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1978. This machine is still loading today after literally 10’s of thousands of shells loaded with it, and other than a few wad finger replacements and some minor adjustments it’s been trouble free. I have loaded with just about every machine on the market, from the Dillion progressive machine to the Lee Load All’s and although the machines do a good job, they just don’t perform any better than the lower cost MEC machines. I was told when I first starting loading that I would soon upgrade to a progressive press, but after 30+ years I’m still loading with a single stage machine. I shoot trap at the rate of around 200 shells a week, or about 10,000+ shells a year. I enjoy my time reloading and the single stage press is plenty fast enough for me. I can crank out about 100 shells an hour on my MEC 600 Mark 5, so a couple hours a week is all that is needed to supply my shooting needs. I’ve had several fellow reloaders that say you can’t beat the quality of this machine or that machine, but with crimps as factory perfect as the MEC system, I just can’t see where you can do any better no matter how much you spend on a press.
So thanks again for a great product as well as second to none customer service over the years.

I do not really have a problem of any kind but just wanted to say you Guys make the very best Shot Shell Loader there has ever been! I bought my first Mec 650 Jr. back in 1971 and have loaded over 21,000 shells on it with no real problems of any kind whatsoever! It is still going strong, I think the thing will last Forever!! I use to shoot 250 to 300 rounds at trap every weekend! This required a lot of reloading. My Daughter was only 9 years old at the time and she kept saying "Daddy Let me Load Some" So one day I said why not! After about a week of watching over and guiding her I let her loose on her own and boy did she take to it! She got to where she could load almost as fast I could. It sure saved me a lot of time and she really enjoyed it. She is now 36 years old and sometimes still says "Daddy when can I load you some shot gun shells! I have one of your loaders in almost every gauge now and I have not bought a box of factory loaded shells in 40 years! It has sure saved me a lot of money and allowed me to shoot much more than if I had to buy the shells. I think the 650 Jr. is still the best you have ever made! Thanks and hope your business will prosper and continue forever! The Darn price of the Shot is the biggest problem these days! Most places want $55 to $65 for a 25 lb. bag.
Rio Salado Sportsman's Club entered the fast growing sport of Sporting Clays in 2005. We were lucky enough to have met Andy Perkins at the SHOT show the previous year. We have purchase almost all of our clay target machines through Andy and he has provided us outstanding service through the years. When Andy and Simon decided to form their own company, APEX Traps, we didn't hesitate to put in an order for their newly designed machines. We have been completely satisfied with them. The design is robust and reliable, allowing us to throw a wide variety of presentations discerning Sporting Clays shooters have come to expect. Even the high angle curling presentations that often cause problems in other machines can be thrown reliably from APEX traps. We were thrilled to hear the news that APEX is now part of the MEC family. MEC has always had a stellar reputation among shotgun shooters for quality products and outstanding customer service. We look forward to continuing our relationship with MEC for many years to come.

I purchaced a Sizemaster in 12 gauge Saturday. I removed it from the carton Sunday afternoon and in less than a 1/2 hour I completed my first box of shells. I have loaded metalic for over 20 years but this was my first experience loading shot shell. I have never been up and running this easy before. And now after 200 rds complete I must compliment you on an absolute outstanding product. Quality top to bottom and great ease of changing bars and bushings. Please pass the word to your entire team that your customers truly thank you for an outstanding product. Even if we don't all write in and say it.
Hats off to Mayville Engineering Company!
I used to reload shot shells when I was in high school with a MEC 600 Jr, back in 1974. I haven't used it since around 1978. I began trap shooting again this year and dug out my old MEC reloader and everything works just as it used to. No rust, no new problems. Really pretty incredible when you think about it. I might have to replace the drop tube I broke back in '75 - we'll see. Thought you might appreciate hearing another story of just how durable and reliable your product is. That MEC reloader is the longest lasting piece of equipment I own or have ever owned. It is older than some of your employees guessing by your web photos.
I depend on my MEC 206 machines for my trick shooting demos, they are lighter and more dependable than any trap I have ever used.
